The Statue of Liberty

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me.
I lift my lamp beside the golden door."

The Statue of Liberty was a gift to the people of the United States from the people of France. She stands in the middle of the harbor of New York City. She is a symbol of hope and freedom for immigrants.
