The giraffe lives in the savannas, grasslands and woodlands of Africa. They are the tallest of all land living mammals. The giraffe can grow up to 20 feet tall, although they typically grow to 16 or 18 feet tall. They have a very long neck which is great for eating leaves and twigs from tall trees.
