Penguins are a group of aquatic, flightless birds mostly living in the Southern Hemisphere, particularly the Antarctica. However, the Galápagos Penguin prefers a more temperate climate living near the equator. Penguins are easily recognizable by their black and white coloring, and their unusually upright, waddling gait. The penguin looks like it is formally dressed in a man's tuxedo. These birds have adapted for life in the water. Their wings have become flippers allowing them to swim fast in the water. Play the following videos to learn more about the penguin.
