The Sydney Funnel Web Spider is considered one of the most dangerous spiders in the world. Fortunately, the spider's home is limited to within a distance of about 100 miles (160 km) from Sydney, Australia. The Sydney Funnel Web is a medium to large spider generally shiny, dark brown to black in color. It is an aggressive spider, and it has a very potent venom. Their one inch fangs are capable of injecting a lethal dose of venom into a victim. These spiders may wander into houses or backyards, and end up in shoes or other clothing.
