The osprey can be found on all continents, except Antarctica. It lives in a wide variety of habitats, nesting near any water providing an adequate food supply. The Osprey's diet consists mostly of fish. It flies up to 130 ft above the water looking for fish. After it spots a fish, it hovers momentarily then plunges feet first into the water.
