The cerebrum is the largest part of the brain. It is often referred to as the forebrain, because it is the top and forward most part of the brain. It is responsible for higher level brain functions such as perception, imagination, thought, judgment and decision making. The cerebrum is divided into symmetric left and right cerebral hemispheres.
