Bar graph is pictorial representation of numerical data by bars (Rectangles).

Example1:

Let us represent the below data using bar graph.

Names Arnold Kim Sam Jack Robin Jane Carole Jessie John
Scores 90 64 30 100 20 76 68 55 49

Example2:

The following information was collected about student's favorite activities or pass times.

This can be shown in a bar graph, as follows.
