Making Models

Making Models is a skill that brings information and data alive. A model is something that has the characteristics of the real thing but is not the real thing. Like a model of a plane is not the same as the real plane but you can take a model of a plane into a classroom and use it to demonstrate many aspects of flying without your friends ever seeing a real plane. In this way model building is a very good skill to have in discovering and communicating interesting information to others.
