Contractions

A contraction is a single word made by combining two other words using an apostrophe. For example, "can't" is the contraction for "can" and "not". You can use either in a sentence and it has the same meaning. "You can't do that" has the same meaning as "you can not do that". Try some contractions in the following sentences.
