Classifying means to notice the differences and sameness in shapes words and number sequences and putting those things that are more the same in one place and labeling it by the things that made you decide they were the same or close to being the same. For example, you could have your family car and a toy car in the same category by labeling them both as cars, even though one is bigger than the other.
